Kitten Buying Guide & FAQ

What kittens are available now?

The Kittens tab on our website is kept up to date with current availability and reservations.

Most kittens are reserved quickly. Families on our Priority Waitlist are given the first opportunity to submit reservation requests when new litters open. If kittens remain available, information is then shared with families on our free waitlist.

Typical wait times vary based on timing and availability, but our current average wait time to be matched with a kitten is approximately three to six months. Waitlisted families are notified as new litters are announced.

Where are you located?

We’re located in Arnold, Missouri (just outside of St. Louis). Most families either pick up their kitten from our home cattery or schedule delivery. We offer free delivery within about one hour of our location (covering much of the greater St. Louis area).

If you’re farther away within the United States, we can:

  • Arrange delivery by car or flight for an additional fee,
  • Or meet you at a halfway point—this also includes a delivery fee based on distance.

We’ve safely delivered kittens all across the U.S., and we’re happy to work with you on the best and most convenient travel plan for your location.

How do I know you’re a reputable breeder?

Great question, and one we welcome! We’re proud to be a small, ethical cattery focused on raising healthy, well-socialized Siberian kittens that meet breed standards in both temperament and type.We are a registered cattery with both CFA and TICA, the two major cat fancier associations in North America. We also regularly participate in CFA Cat Shows, where our cats have earned awards, reflecting our dedication to quality breeding and maintaining high breed standards.
Here’s what sets us apart:

  • We raise our kittens in our home, not in cages
  • We prioritize socialization, enrichment, and early training
  • Our breeding lines are health-tested (no known HCM, PKD, FIV, or FeLV)
  • Each kitten comes with a 1-year health guarantee
  • We partner with SpaySecure to promote responsible pet ownership
  • We offer transparent policies, e-sign contracts, and ongoing support

Can I show my siberian in cat shows?

Yes! Many of our kittens are show quality, and we welcome families who are interested in getting involved with cat shows—whether you’re completely new to showing or already experienced.

We actively participate in CFA cat shows ourselves and have award-winning cats as part of our breeding program. We’re always happy to offer guidance and support to help you get started if you'd like to show your pet in either CFA or TICA events.

Showing your cat is a wonderful way to learn more about the breed, connect with the community, and showcase the exceptional type, temperament, and coat Siberians are known for.

I’m interested in one of your kittens! What’s the first step?

We are so glad you are here. The first step in the adoption process is joining our waitlist, especially if you are interested in upcoming or not yet available kittens.

We currently offer two waitlist options: a free waitlist and an optional Priority Waitlist. Families on the Priority Waitlist are given the first opportunity to submit reservation requests when new litters become available. If kittens remain available after priority reservations are completed, information is then shared with families on the free waitlist.

How much do your kittens cost?

Our kittens are priced at $2,300 for litters born on or before March 1, 2026. For litters born after March 1, 2026, the kitten price will be $2,500.  After your reservation is approved and you’ve selected your kitten, a $500 deposit secures your place and holds your kitten until pick-up.  The remaining balance is due when your kitten goes home - typically at 12 weeks old. We accept Venmo, CashApp, PayPal, Zelle, or another agreed-upon method. If we meet in person, cash is accepted.

📌 Delivery/shipping fees are not included in the purchase price and are calculated separately based on location and method.

What if I need to cancel after placing a deposit?

We understand that circumstances can change, but please note that deposits are non-refundable. Cancellations take away opportunities for other families and often come after we’ve already invested in care (vaccines, food, supplies, etc.). We ask that you be sure of your decision before placing a deposit.

When can I bring my kitten home?

Kittens are ready to go home at 12 weeks old, once they are:

  • Fully weaned and eating solid food
  • Litter trained
  • Socialized and confident
  • Up-to-date on vaccinations and vet care

How do I pick up my kitten? Do you offer delivery?

Yes, we offer flexible options for getting your kitten home safely and comfortably.

Once your kitten is ready to leave—typically at 12 weeks of age—we’ll coordinate pick-up or delivery with you. You’re welcome to:

  • Pick up your kitten directly from our home in Arnold, Missouri
  • Meet us at a halfway point (a delivery fee applies)
  • Arrange delivery by car or flight (fees vary based on distance and method)

We offer free delivery within about one hour of our location, which covers much of the greater St. Louis area. Beyond that, we’re happy to work with you on a convenient plan. We’ve delivered kittens all across the U.S. and prioritize safety and comfort every step of the way.

Are your kittens healthy?

Absolutely. We are committed to the long term health of our kittens and the integrity of our breeding program. All of our breeding cats undergo genetic testing, are screened for common hereditary conditions, receive HCM echocardiogram screenings, and test negative for FIV and FeLV.

Our breeding lines have no known history of HCM or PKD, and each kitten comes with a 1 year genetic health guarantee.

We do require that buyers have their kitten examined by a licensed veterinarian within 14 days of going home. This initial visit helps confirm your kitten’s health and allows your veterinarian to establish an appropriate care plan moving forward.

What kind of ongoing care do I need to provide?

You’ll be responsible for maintaining your kitten’s ongoing health with:

  • Regular veterinary visits
  • Vaccinations
  • Deworming
  • Parasite prevention
  • Nutritional care and enrichment

We’re always happy to answer questions about feeding, grooming, or supplies.

Do you allow declawing?

No. Declawing is strictly prohibited. This procedure amputates the tip of each toe and often leads to long-term pain, behavior changes, and loss of mobility. Instead, we encourage scratching posts, cardboard scratchers, and regular nail trimming.

WILL MY KITTEN BE SPAYED OR NEUTERED?

All of our kittens are sold as pets only, with no breeding rights. Our veterinarians typically do not recommend spaying or neutering before 4 to 6 months of age, as early surgery can impact growth and development. That’s why we send your kitten home intact at around 12 weeks.

We partner with SpaySecure, a trusted service that supports and verifies sterilization at the appropriate age.  You agree to have your kitten spayed or neutered no later than 7 months of age, in accordance with your veterinarian’s advice. SpaySecure sends helpful reminders and ensures this important step is completed responsibly.

  • Home address
  • Email

Once signed, you’re officially on your way to welcoming your new kitten home!

kitten waitlist or purchase application

Joining our waitlist is the first step toward being considered for one of our kittens. We currently offer two waitlist options: a free waitlist and an optional Priority Waitlist. The free waitlist allows us to learn more about you, your home, and what you are hoping for in a kitten. Families on the free waitlist are notified if kittens remain available after priority families have had the opportunity to reserve. The optional Priority Waitlist is limited in size and offers early access to reservation opportunities when new litters become available. Participation in the Priority Waitlist requires a $250 non refundable commitment, which is applied toward the kitten purchase price once you are matched. Information about the Priority Waitlist is shared after your application has been reviewed. We also share general updates on upcoming litters and kitten availability through our website, Facebook, and Instagram. Please take a few moments to complete the application below.
