At any given time, most of our kittens are already reserved by families on our waitlist. We rarely have kittens immediately available without a wait. Families on our Priority Waitlist are given the first opportunity to submit reservation requests when new litters open.
The Kittens tab on our website reflects current availability and reservation status.
Typical wait times vary based on timing and preferences, but most families should expect to join the waitlist and plan for a future litter. If you are looking for a kitten that is immediately available to take home, our program may not be the right fit.
Our kittens are priced at $2,500. After your reservation is approved and you have selected your kitten, a $500 deposit secures your place and holds your kitten until pickup. The remaining balance is due when your kitten goes home, typically at 12 weeks of age.
We accept Venmo, CashApp, PayPal, Zelle, or another agreed upon method. If we meet in person, cash is accepted.
Delivery and shipping fees are not included in the purchase price and are calculated separately based on location and method.
We are located in Arnold, Missouri, just outside of St. Louis. Most families either pick up their kitten from our home cattery or arrange delivery.
We offer free delivery within approximately one hour of our location, covering much of the greater St. Louis area. Additional delivery options are available throughout the United States and are discussed in more detail below.
The first step in our adoption process is completing our waitlist application. This allows us to learn more about you, your home, and what you are hoping for in a kitten so we can thoughtfully match kittens with families.
We currently offer two waitlist options, a free waitlist and an optional Priority Waitlist. Families on the Priority Waitlist are given the first opportunity to submit reservation requests when new litters become available. If kittens remain available after priority reservations are completed, information is then shared with families on the free waitlist.

We use a simple digital contract that can be signed from your phone or computer. It includes all primary terms and policies and ensures we are on the same page. To complete the contract, we will need:

Once signed, you are officially on your way to welcoming your new kitten home.
Great question, and one we welcome. We are proud to operate an ethical breeding program focused on health, temperament, and breed standards. Our goal is to raise healthy, well socialized Siberian kittens that exemplify the Siberian breed in both type and personality.
We are a registered cattery with both the Cat Fanciers Association (CFA) and The International Cat Association (TICA), the two primary cat fancier associations in North America. We also regularly participate in CFA cat shows, where our cats have earned awards and titles, reflecting our commitment to quality breeding and maintaining high breed standards.
Here’s what sets us apart:
• We raise our kittens in our home, not in cages
• We prioritize early socialization, enrichment, and positive handling
• Our breeding lines are health tested, with no known HCM, PKD, FIV, or FeLV
• Each kitten comes with a one year health guarantee
• We partner with SpaySecure to promote responsible pet ownership
• We offer transparent policies, electronic contracts, and ongoing support
Absolutely. We are committed to the long term health of our kittens and the integrity of our breeding program. All breeding cats undergo genetic testing, are screened for common hereditary conditions, receive HCM echocardiogram screenings, and test negative for FIV and FeLV. Our breeding lines have no known history of HCM or PKD based on available testing and pedigree information. Each kitten comes with a one year genetic health guarantee.
We do require that buyers have their kitten examined by a licensed veterinarian within 14 days of going home. This initial visit helps confirm your kitten’s health and allows your veterinarian to establish an appropriate care plan moving forward.
Kittens are ready to go home at 12 weeks of age. Keeping kittens with their mother and littermates through this stage supports healthy physical, emotional, and social development.
During these additional weeks, kittens continue to learn important skills such as appropriate play behavior, confidence around people, and how to adapt to new environments. They also benefit from continued socialization, routine handling, and gradual independence from their mother.
By the time your kitten goes home, they are:
• Fully weaned and eating solid food
• Reliably litter trained
• Socialized, confident, and comfortable with handling
• Up to date on vaccinations and veterinary care
Waiting until 12 weeks helps ensure a smoother transition into their new home and sets the foundation for a well adjusted companion.
Yes. We offer flexible options for getting your kitten home safely and comfortably.
Once your kitten is ready to leave, typically at 12 weeks of age, we will coordinate pickup or delivery with you. You are welcome to:
• Pick up your kitten directly from our home in Arnold, Missouri
• Meet us at a halfway point, with a delivery fee based on distance
• Arrange delivery by car or flight, with fees varying by distance and method
We offer free delivery within approximately one hour of our location, which covers much of the greater St. Louis area. Beyond that, we are happy to work with you on a convenient plan. We have safely delivered kittens all across the United States and prioritize safety and comfort every step of the way.
Many of our kittens are show quality, and we welcome families who are interested in getting involved with cat shows. While most of our kittens are placed as companions, we are happy to support families who wish to explore showing.
We actively participate in CFA cat shows ourselves and have award winning cats as part of our breeding program. We are always happy to offer guidance and support to help you get started if you would like to show your cat in CFA or TICA events.
Showing your cat is a wonderful way to learn more about the breed, connect with the community, and showcase the exceptional type, temperament, and coat Siberians are known for.
We understand that circumstances can change. Please note that deposits are non refundable. Cancellations take away opportunities for other families and often occur after we have already invested in care such as vaccinations, food, and supplies. We ask that you be sure of your decision before placing a deposit.
All of our kittens are sold as pets only, with no breeding rights. Our veterinarians typically do not recommend spaying or neutering before four to six months of age, as early surgery can impact growth and development. That is why we send your kitten home intact at approximately 12 weeks of age.
We partner with SpaySecure, a trusted service that supports and verifies sterilization at the appropriate age. You agree to have your kitten spayed or neutered no later than seven months of age, in accordance with your veterinarian’s advice. SpaySecure provides reminders and helps ensure this step is completed responsibly.

You will be responsible for maintaining your kitten’s ongoing health, including:

• Vaccinations
• Deworming
• Parasite prevention
• Proper nutrition and enrichment
We are always happy to answer questions about feeding, grooming, or supplies.
No. Declawing is strictly prohibited. This procedure amputates the tip of each toe and often leads to long term pain, behavior changes, and loss of mobility. Instead, we encourage the use of scratching posts, cardboard scratchers, and regular nail trimming. We are always happy to help families find humane alternatives that work well in their home.
You can find daily photos, videos, and updates of our kittens growing, playing, and thriving on our Instagram and Facebook pages at @legrand.siberian and LeGrand Siberians Facebook Page
